About Qrop

Qrop is a QR code generation platform built by ShellRick Tech Pty Ltd, a South African software company trading as Qrop. We make it fast and straightforward to generate branded QR codes — custom colours, logos, and multiple output formats — without the bloat of tools designed for a different era.

The product has two faces. The web generator at qrop.co.za/generate gives individuals and small teams a free, no-signup way to create QR codes for Wi-Fi networks, contact cards, restaurant menus, URLs, and more. Registered accounts unlock larger monthly allowances, logo embedding, and SVG export.

The enterprise API serves developers, agencies, and businesses that need QR generation at scale — in bulk, via code, with consistent branding across every output. API customers get metered credit plans, per-key rate limits, and a batch endpoint that generates up to 100 codes in a single request.

We built Qrop because existing QR tools were either consumer-grade toys or heavyweight enterprise platforms that required a sales call to try. Our goal is a generation engine that feels like infrastructure: predictable, fast, and out of the way.
